When considering his future in reality TV, Peter Weber isn’t dismissing the idea of entering the Big Brother house.
As the former Bachelor star makes waves on season 2 of The Traitors, some fans wonder if Weber, 32, would entertain the idea of participating in other reality TV ventures.
During an appearance on the “Your Internet Best Friend” podcast on Monday, February 26, Weber expressed openness to exploring different challenges on television. “I won’t deny it,” he shared with host Morgan Willett while reflecting on his experience on The Traitors.
“You have experience with Big Brother and all that. I became completely engrossed in this type of gameplay. I had an absolute blast. It was incredibly enjoyable.”
Without hesitation, Willett – the winner of Big Brother: Over the Top – proposed that Weber consider joining the CBS show. “I think you should give Big Brother a shot,” she suggested. “I’d genuinely love to see you thrive in that environment. It’s all about strategy. Everyone’s scheming and strategizing intensely.”
Weber responded, “I’m up for it, let’s do it.”
Thanks to his strong physical and social gameplay on season 2 of the Peacock series, Weber has exceeded viewers’ expectations by emerging as a leader of a loyal alliance that successfully identified two traitors (Dan Gheesling and Survivor’s Parvati Shallow). Despite declining a recruitment offer from the remaining traitors, he has managed to stay in the game.
Weber also had the chance to compete alongside Big Brother veterans, including Gheesling and Janelle Pierzina. Despite their status as icons among fans, Weber confessed that he was unaware of their fame when he first encountered them while filming in Scotland.
“I’m not much of a TV buff,” he admitted. “I mainly watch sports, so I had no clue about their reputation, how skilled they were. The only person I recognized at the castle was Maks [Chmerkovskiy] from Dancing With the Stars.”
Weber also revealed his interest in participating in ABC’s long-standing reality show in the ballroom.
“I’m pretty confident in my dancing abilities,” he remarked. “Whether it’s country or line dancing, I’m game. I’ve got a bit of swing dance in me too.”
However, the show Weber truly aspires to join is Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test. Several Bachelor Nation members, including Hannah Brown, Tyler Cameron, and Nick Viall, have taken part in the Fox series, which requires celebrities to undergo rigorous training exercises led by directing staff agents. Weber expressed his readiness to challenge himself mentally and physically in a completely new manner.
“I believe the opportunity to push myself to the absolute limit would be incredible,” Weber remarked. “When I was younger, I aspired to join the Air Force and become a fighter pilot. This could be the closest thing to truly pushing and testing myself to discover my capabilities.” He added, “I know it might sound crazy, but I thrive on pushing my boundaries and making myself uncomfortable. We’ll see how it goes.”
New episodes of The Traitors season 2 premiere on Peacock Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET.
