The AFC Richmond team reunites!
The ensemble cast of Ted Lasso made a stylish appearance at the 35th annual GLAAD Media Awards held in Los Angeles on Thursday. The Apple TV+ series later clinched the award for outstanding comedy series.
The event, which celebrates LGBTQ representation in media, brought together stars such as Jason Sudeikis, Hannah Waddingham, Brett Goldstein, Juno Temple, Brendan Hunt, Phil Dunster, Jeremy Swift, Cristo Fernández, Kola Bokinni, Moe Jeudy-Lamour, and Billy Harris.
Billy Harris, known for his role as Colin Hughes, sported a preppy ensemble featuring tan pants, a white button-down shirt, and a navy blazer, while Waddingham, who plays Rebecca Welton, stunned in a black sequin gown adorned with multicolored embellishments.
Fernández, portraying Dani Rojas, opted for a striking baby blue two-piece suit paired with a white shirt, while Temple, as Keeley Jones, donned a powder pink silk gown accessorized with a heart-shaped pink handbag and a black choker. Her on-screen partner Jodi Balfour (Jack Danvers) joined her in an all-black outfit.
Sudeikis, in his 48, chose a dark-colored three-piece suit, adding a touch of flair with a pink shirt and a purple tie. Ted Lasso competed for the award alongside other shows like And Just Like That…, Harlem, Harley Quinn, Sex Education, and What We Do In The Shadows.
The series received recognition for its depiction of Keeley’s relationship with Jack in its third season. Since the release of the Emmy-winning show’s third season finale in May 2023, the cast has been seen together at various events amid speculation about the show’s future.
They recently reunited at the 30th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards where they were nominated for outstanding performance by an ensemble in a comedy series. Goldstein, Sudeikis, and Waddingham also received individual nominations. The cast sported custom blue Nike tracksuits featuring the AFC Richmond logo.
Additionally, many of the cast members gathered at this year’s Emmys in January to support one another. Goldstein and Sudeikis made appearances in Waddingham’s Apple TV+ holiday special, ‘Hannah Waddingham: Home for Christmas,’ released in December.
Ted Lasso is available for streaming on Apple TV+.
