Savannah Chrisley has a packed schedule ahead of her.
Fresh off her appearance on The Masked Singer, the reality star reveals to PEOPLE the various projects she’s currently involved in, many of which center around her well-known family.
“There are so many different things I’m juggling right now,” says Savannah, 26. “At the moment, I’m working on a documentary—not only focusing on my parents’ legal case but also highlighting the reform efforts I’m engaged in. I’ve been collaborating with numerous lobbyists and attorneys to testify before Congress regarding issues I’ve uncovered within our legal system.”
Rumors had previously circulated about a documentary revolving around the Chrisley family’s legal troubles. However, Savannah and other members of the family distanced themselves from the project, stating they weren’t involved in its production.
Savannah’s parents, Todd, 54, and Julie, reported to prison in January 2023 after being convicted of fraud and tax evasion. They began appealing their case shortly after their sentencing in November 2022. Now, their legal team will present their case again to a judge during oral arguments next month, potentially altering the course of their legal battle.
The aftermath of Todd and Julie’s legal saga, and its impact on the entire Chrisley clan, is poised to feature prominently in an upcoming reality series. “Several networks are currently in discussions to see where that leads,” she explains.
“However, my primary focus right now is on my burgeoning real estate business here in Nashville, which has seen significant growth. I’m also concentrating on my children and, of course, supporting my parents’ appeal to bring them back home.”
Discussing specifics about their upcoming show, Savannah acknowledges the waiting game they’re currently playing.
“Right now, the television landscape is quite tumultuous. It feels like everyone is undergoing restructuring,” she continues.
“So, we’re patiently awaiting to see how things unfold. Our agents at William Morris are in discussions with various parties, and we’re just waiting for the right opportunity.” Meanwhile, fans can catch Savannah’s recent appearance on The Masked Singer, where she was revealed as the Afghan Hound during Wednesday’s episode.
“At first, I was hesitant about participating,” she admits. “But then I realized I was just holding myself back. I decided to go for it, have fun, and not overthink it.”
“After that, I had no reservations. I thought, ‘Why not give it a shot?'” The Masked Singer airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on Fox.
