Ora’s husband, the movie director Taika Waititi, was also there with the singers at the Accor Stadium.
The pop superstar, 34, had the support of her boyfriend Travis Kelce and fellow singers Katy Perry and Rita Ora at Friday night’s show.
A video on X (formerly Twitter) showed Perry, 39, and Ora, 33, talking in a VIP tent, and Perry also seemed to receive a friendship bracelet from a fan.
Making handmade beaded bracelets was a popular activity for Swifties during the Eras Tour last summer. The bracelets are based on the lyrics from Swift’s Midnights song, “You’re on Your Own, Kid,” especially the line, “Make the friendship bracelets, take the moment and taste it.”
Perry and Ora both wore black outfits for the concert, with Ora in a black cap and strapless top, and American Idol judge Perry in a black bralette.
Ora’s husband, the movie director Taika Waititi, was also spotted next to the two singers. Ora and Waititi gave Swift an MTV EMA award in November 2022 — one of the four awards she received that night — when they hosted the yearly event in Düsseldorf, Germany.
Perry’s support for Swift on her tour followed the “Roar” singer’s revelation about how they resolved their long-standing feud that apparently influenced Swift’s song “Bad Blood” and Perry’s “Swish Swish.”
Perry told the Howard Stern Show in a July 2020 interview that she and Swift wanted to make peace publicly and be “an example” for their young fans.
“Rumors can spread fast but the truth takes longer. It’s just a matter of time,” Perry said then, saying that the media blew their conflict out of proportion and they are now “very cordial.”
“What I’m so grateful for is we did get to make up publicly and got to be an example of redemption for young girls, I always wanted the best for her and now we can talk about the best we want for each other.”
The two singers had made up in Swift’s “You Need to Calm Down” music video the previous year, where Perry wore a burger outfit and Swift was in a french fries costume.
Swift’s first of four shows at the Accor Stadium was on Friday, and the “Anti-Hero” singer will continue to perform in Australia until Feb. 26 before going to Singapore for her tour’s next stop on March 2.
The show faced a setback because of bad weather, and the Accor Stadium told fans in a post on X to “stay under cover until further notice and follow venue screens and staff instructions.” “Stay safe and remember to be kind to those around you,” the statement said.
The Sydney Morning Herald, an Australian news source, reported that Swift talked about the weather when she started her performance and said to the crowd of 81,000, “An Aussie crowd will never let anything stop them.”
