Clayton Echard Faces Legal Battle Over Allegations of Fabricated Pregnancy Claims

Clayton Echard, known for his appearance on The Bachelor, is moving closer to a trial following accusations made by a woman regarding a purported pregnancy with his twins, which he has labeled a “sham.”

Echard, 30, shared a detailed press release from Woodnick Law, PLLC, on his Instagram Story, disputing claims made by a woman identified as L.O., 33, with whom he denies having engaged in intercourse.

According to the statement, Echard distanced himself from L.O. after clarifying he was not interested in pursuing a relationship.

The statement alleges that shortly after this encounter, L.O. began suggesting she might be pregnant, later claiming she had confirmed her pregnancy, including with twins.

Reports surfaced in September 2023 regarding Echard’s alleged involvement in the woman’s pregnancy following a one-night stand. According to the press release, L.O. shared false information with the media after Echard declined her demands to enter a “dating contract” and discuss parenting plans for the supposed twins.

The statement further asserts that L.O. has a history of fabricating pregnancies and manipulating medical evidence to manipulate relationships, dating back a decade.

Echard, who underwent a paternity test, confirmed in October 2023 that he was not the father. However, L.O. later disputed these results, alleging they were inconclusive.

Echard’s press statement accuses L.O. of engaging in risky behavior during her alleged pregnancy, including horseback riding, and presenting falsified evidence in court appearances.

Following a series of legal proceedings, including a missed deposition and claims of miscarriage, Echard remains committed to the legal process and has urged the public to refrain from harassing behavior.

In response to the allegations, L.O. maintains that her pregnancy was confirmed by a medical facility on June 1st, 2023.
